I rent my home. Can you still help?
Yes. Lots of our kit is wire-free and needs only small fixings. You may need your landlord’s OK for anything drilled or wired.
Costs
How much does it cost?
Every home is different, so after your free visit we give you one fixed price for the equipment and fitting. No hidden extras.
Is the consultation really free?
Yes — no charge and no obligation.
Are there any monthly fees?
Not unless you want them. Your system works without a subscription, and recordings are stored in your home. Our Care Plan and cloud backup are optional.
Installation
How long does installation take?
Most jobs take a few hours. Bigger systems can take a day. We’ll tell you when we quote.
Will there be any mess?
No. We use dust sheets, hide cables wherever we can and tidy up before we leave.
Do I need to be home?
Yes, so we can set up the app on your phone and show you how everything works.
Does it all need good Wi-Fi?
Most smart devices use Wi-Fi, so we test your signal first. If there are weak spots, we can fix them with whole-home Wi-Fi.
Security & privacy
Who can see my cameras?
Only you and the people you choose. Everything is set up on your own account — we can’t see your cameras unless you give us access for support.
Can my cameras be hacked?
We set everything up securely: a strong password, two-step verification and the latest updates. Video is encrypted, and only people you choose can see it.
What about my neighbours’ privacy?
We point cameras at your property and block out neighbouring gardens and windows. We’ll explain the rules at your visit.
What happens if my internet goes down?
Cameras keep recording in your home, and many automations keep working. Phone alerts return when the internet does.
Care Plan & warranty
What is the Care Plan?
An optional monthly plan. If anything we’ve installed needs fixing or changing, you get in touch and we sort it — no call-out or labour charge. Find out more.
How much does the Care Plan cost?
It depends on your setup. We’ll give you one simple monthly price at your free visit.
Is the equipment covered by a warranty?
Yes. Every device comes with the manufacturer’s warranty. If something fails, we’ll help you sort it — and Care Plan members have it handled for them.
